Intro: Kickoff drawing the Grinch with a pencil sketch. In the showtime stages, don't press down too hard. Use light, polish strokes for sketching.
Step 1: Start drawing the Grinch with a big oval a fleck to the right of the middle of the page. This volition be the basic shape for the Grinch's head.
Pace ii: Side by side, draw a vertical line near the left side of the principal oval and a horizontal line near the heart of the oval. When drawing the lines, curve them so they follow the contour of the oval. These will be construction lines that will help you identify the Grinch's features later on.
Footstep 3: Draw a bend on either side of the oval shape. The curve should outset out on the tip of the horizontal structure line at the edge of the oval and curve outward. And then the curve should come down and meet the bottom of the oval. These are guides for the Grinch's cheeks.
Footstep 4: On top of the horizontal structure line, draw two rounded triangles for this drawing character'south eyes. The Grinch'due south optics should be on either side of the vertical line, and draw the left eye slightly smaller because of the perspective.
Footstep 5: At present draw in the guide for the Grinch's Santa lid past sketching in a tilted triangle on top of his caput.
